Leadshine 3DM683 three-phase driver

$114.00

The driver uses an 8-bit DIP switch to set the microstep resolution and motor operating current:

  SW 1 ┐     SW 2 ├─ Operating current   SW 3 ┘     SW 4 ── Holding current (50%/100%) Motor auto-identification and parameter auto-tuning (2 changes/sec)   SW 5 ┐     SW 6 │     SW 7 ├─ Microstep resolution   SW 8 ┘

Setting the operating current, the first three DIP switches (SW1, 2, 3):

Peak current, A RMS current, A SW1 SW2 SW3 Default / software setting (from 0.5 to 8 .3 A) off off off 3.2 2.3 on off off 4.0 2.9 off on off 4.9 3.5 on on off 5.7 4.1 off off on 6.4 4.6 on off on 7.3 5.2 off on on 8.3 5.9 on on on

Setting the holding current with switch SW4.
In the OFF position, the holding current is set to 50% of the operating value,
in the ON position, it is set equal to the selected value of the operating current.

Microstep mode selection

is set by DIP switches SW5, 6, 7, 8 as shown in the table:

Description

3DM683 is a universal all-wheel drive driver based on DSP with advanced control algorithm. It provides a high level of smoothness, delivers optimum torque and zero average instability. Motor self-test and auto-tuning of parameters ensure optimal interaction with different motors. The motors can run with far less noise, lower heat, smoother motion than most drives on the market. Superior features make the 3DM683 an ideal choice for drives requiring low speed and smoothness.

General Features:
Extremely low motor noise
Anti-resonance protection ensures optimal torque and zero average instability
Self-test technology and auto-tuning provides optimal interaction with various motors
Microprocessor-based resolutions programmable, from full step to 102, 400 steps/rev
Supply voltage up to +60 VDC
Output current programmable, from 0.5A to 8.3A
Pulsed input frequency up to 200 kHz
Auto idle reduction
Supports PUL / DIR and CW / CCW modes
Suitable for 3/6 terminals of 3-phase motors
Has short circuit protection, overvoltage, overcurrent

The driver is suitable for a wide range of stepper motors from 17 to 34 NEMA frame sizes. Used with various kinds of machine tools such as XY tables, engraving machines, labeling machines, laser cutting machines, transfer machines, etc. Extremely well suited for applications requiring low noise, low heat, high speed and accuracy.
