The driver uses an 8-bit DIP switch to set the microstep resolution and motor operating current:

Setting the operating current, the first three DIP switches (SW1, 2, 3):

Description

The 3ND883 is a high-resolution three-phase microstepping driver based on precision current control. It is suitable for driving NEMA size 17 to 34 three-phase hybrid stepper motors. Using advanced pure sine wave current technology, it makes stepper motors close to servo motors in smoothness and noise. Compared to the 3ND583, it has a wider supply voltage range and offers a larger microstepping range, due to which they can be used to replace more two-phase stepping systems directly without changing the software, offering better performance.
